"We expect to see many of Joan's friends and neighbors on auction day and hope all of her fans will join us, as well, whether it is in person or online."

Invaluable, the world’s leading online marketplace for fine art, antiques and collectibles, today announced that it is partnering with Litchfield County Auctions to offer live online bidding on the auction of the Joan Rivers Estate, taking place on July 20 and 21, 2016, at 10:00am EDT both days of the sale. Bidders can view the full collection on and bid online in real-time during the live auction, as well as on the Invaluable mobile app.

The auction will include nearly 600 lots, sold without reserve, all of which were personally owned by Joan Rivers. All items are from her Connecticut country estate, New York apartment or home in Los Angeles. The first day’s session will be devoted to fine and decorative art, while the second day of the auction features Rivers' collection of jewelry and accessories. A portion of the auction proceeds will benefit the charities Guide Dogs For The Blind and God's Love We Deliver.

The first day of the auction will feature furniture and decorations from the estate of Joan Rivers, including a Regency Rosewood Breakfront Table (estimated at $1,500 - $2,500) as seen in Ms. Rivers breakfast room in her Fifth Avenue apartment, along with an Angel Gabriel Garden Sculpture (estimated at $1,500 - $2,500), which can be seen in numerous images overlooking Central Park from Ms. Rivers Fifth Avenue apartment terrace. Additional highlights from the first day of the auction include a Benzinger Bros, New York, Sterling Silver Chalice (estimated at $400 - $600) and Joan Rivers Judaica, including two menorahs, seder bowl, antique grogger and more (estimated at $300 - $500).

The second day of the auction will feature jewelry and accessories from the Rivers estate, including a Gold Cagework and Agate Egg (estimated at $2,000 - $3,000), a Vilaiwan Red Beaded Cuff & Two Necklaces from Joan Rivers' personal collection (estimated at $1,500 - $2,500), an Iradj Moiri Signed Floral Stone & Jade Spray Pin (estimated at $1,200 - $1,800) and an 18k Gold Ring by Bulgari (estimated at $800 - $1,200). Additional highlights include a Vintage Christian Dior Necklace (estimated at $500 - $800) and a Gold Lorgnette & Chain (estimated at $2,000 - $3,000).

"We're honored to have a role in carrying out the wishes of Joan Rivers and her estate,” said Nick Thorn, president of Litchfield County Auctions. “We expect to see many of Joan's friends and neighbors on auction day and hope all of her fans will join us, as well, whether it is in person or online."

“Joan Rivers was one of the most iconic comedians, actresses and television personalities of our time, and we are very pleased to offer our bidders the chance to own some of the personal items from her estate,” said Rob Weisberg, Invaluable CEO. “Between Joan Rivers’ love of opulent furnishings and her lavish style, there are a lot of wonderful pieces in this auction available to her fans at affordable prices.”
